SongFest is an intensive performing workshop designed to give singers, pianists, singing teachers and coaches the opportunity for in-depth study with distinguished artist faculty. Internationally-acclaimed faculty includes: Margo Garrett, Martin Katz, Graham Johnson, Roger Vignoles, Jake Heggie, Libby Larsen, John Musto, Amy Burton, Lisa Saffer, William Sharp, and many others! SongFest has commissioned Libby Larsen to write a song cycle to be premiered by a SongFest singer and pianist on June 19, 2011.
The Bach Cantata Program at SongFest will continue with members of Emmanuel Music of Boston, including Kendra Colton, Peggy Pearson, and Randy Bowman.
